MY LABOR AND DELIVERY WAS FAST. AND TRAUMATIC

With my first daughter, I labored in the hospital over the period of 2 days- with my second daughter, I lived through 3 contractions in the passenger seat of the car while sitting in traffic on 680 (which we got a HOV ticket for).

I used a very thick layer of black acrylic paint mixed with gesso, and then carved through the layer with the end of a paint brush. I then used Posca markers to color in the white left behind.
